DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

Guilt can be a killer. Yet if we face our past deeds, learn acceptance and forgiveness we can open ourselves to mental, spiritual and emotional renewal. But how do we get there? Particularly when our unresolved issues have destroyed our world? Leon, born into a military family, finds himself embroiled in war in Afghanistan while defending his country following the horrific terrorist attacks of 9-11. Forty years later, his emotional and mental damage unresolved, Leon is guided by an angel and a maverick medical professional to find a new beginning.

Viztor is a supernatural drama about redemption. It is exciting, terrifying, and in the end, life-affirming. A sobering wake-up call that is explosive, shattered, deranged, remedied and reborn.

The main settings of the story progresses from Afghanistan in 2002 to the drought plagued American Midwest in 2044 and finally to a healing institute utilizing therapeutic psychedelics to achieve mental, emotional and spiritual stability. Along the way, we experience the harsh realities of bone shredding combat, drunken destruction and the soul cleansing revival of mature love.

Viztor is a love story of Leon, his wife Roseanne, their daughter Tanya, grand-daughter Abigail and Leon’s war buddy Cliff, all woven into an unforgettable tapestry that leaves us stunned, silenced and contemplative about our opportunity to live and discover a life of grace.
