Eddie King can be seen currently in Lilly, starring the incomparable Patricia Clarkson, directed by Rachel Feldman. Other recent film work includes, American Animals with Barry Keoghan and Alice, staring Common and Kiki Palmer. Eddie has collaborated extensively with filmmaker/actor Ray McKinnon, starring in McKinnon’s Oscar® winning short, The Accountant, and McKinnon’s first feature, Chrystal, starring Billy Bob Thornton. TV work includes, North and South, Queen, The Class of ’61. In the Heat of the Night and Savannah.

 

A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University, Eddie has been acting for over forty years. Early years were spent primarily in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. The Alliance Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, Horizon Theatre, Seven Stages and The Theatre on the Square were his stomping grounds. Notable leading roles were in the Southern Premiers of, The Heidi Chronicles, Blue Window, Mass Appeal, A Walk in the Woods and The Boys Next Door. Eddie was a founding member of The Georgia Ensemble Theatre with the late Bob Farley and created, Late Night Rock-n-Roll Theatre at Theatrical Outfit. In addition to his acting credits, Eddie has directed many plays throughout the United States.
