Additional certifications include Combat Conditioning Specialist, Non-Lethal Weapons, Riot Control Tactics, Combat Life Saver, Helo-Assaults, Advanced Urban Tactics, Close Air Support Coordination, Cold Weather Survival, Hot Weather Survival, Combat Swimming, and is a credentialed Master Training Specialist. Joe’s broad experience led to his selection to run the Marine Corps’ effort to team manned and unmanned technologies such as artificial intelligence and weaponized robotics and drones.  Joe finished his career serving as the Marine Corps’ only Entertainment Liaison Officer. His final mission was to serve as an advisor and mentor for storytelling, assisting producers and writers with attaining military resources and finding great American stories to tell.  He further assisted with screenplay development and accuracy reviews, firearms and tactics instruction for cast and crew, safety advisor for crew, and other functions unique to senior military advisors.
